Oliver has worked at the forefront of climate transition investing. Prior to joining Blume, he worked in the investment team at HYCAP, a UK-based energy transition focused private equity fund, where he began his career.
Oliver supported early investments and bolt-ons in businesses across clean fuels, industrial and mobility decarbonisation sectors; from infrastructure developers to software solutions. In this role, he also played an active part in supporting portfolio companies achieve their strategic commercial objectives.
Oliver holds a first-class Master’s in Chemistry (MChem) from the University of Oxford, where his published masters research specialised in the functionality of new plastics.
He has lived in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Outside the office, Oliver enjoys running, hiking and is passionate about motorsport.
