Gloria has deep experience both as a start-up operator and investor into high-growth European companies. She is currently an advisor, board member, and investor to many early stage start-ups across Europe, particularly B2B companies. She was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Back, a Berlin-based software start-up that Google invested into and was later acquired by PersonioHR, and previously led the global strategy team of KRY, Europe’s largest telemedicine provider. Prior to joining KRY, Gloria was an investor at Index Ventures, where she focused on pan-European growth stage investments, as well as Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), a Silicon Valley-based growth equity fund, evaluating investment opportunities in the DACH region and in software and fintech companies across Europe. Gloria started her career at Morgan Stanley where she advised technology and telco clients across Europe and the U.S. on financing rounds, IPOs and M&A transactions.
Gloria is a Vice President of the German Startup Association, the policy voice of the German start-up ecosystem. Gloria is fluent in English, German, and Spanish as well as conversational in Swedish. She has both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.
