Tejas has spent over six years working at the intersection of energy and technology, supporting the next generation of sustainable companies across Europe and North America.

Prior to joining Blume, Tejas was a director at Verdane, a specialist growth equity fund backing technology-enabled businesses throughout Europe. As the first member of Verdane’s sustainability team in London, he played a key role in more than five investments in the clean energy and maritime sectors, encompassing both primary and bolt-on M&A. His contributions extended to providing hands-on support to portfolio companies during their growth journeys. He began his career at Lazard in the energy and power investment banking team, working across their New York and London offices.

Tejas holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Born and raised in Mumbai, and having worked in Austin, Houston, and New York, he now resides in London.
